PAZI! A conference on socially useful learning held in Split.
On the 29th and 30th November, Argonauta’s staff participated in the 1st Conference on Socially Useful Learning in the Universities, entitled “Education for the Environment and the Sustainable Development in Croatia”. The conference was organized within the PAZI! project, an acronym that in Croatian means “take care!” and stands for Practical, Active, Together, and Interdisciplinary. Its aim was sharing existing knowledge and experiences on the implementation of socially useful learning as well as networking the different programs on this topics in Croatia.
During the two days of conference, the partner organizations shared their knowledge about the current implementation of the programs about socially useful learning, as well as their results. Students involved in the project also shared their experiences, and a handbook was distributed.
Learning about socially useful learning through this conference has deepened Argonauta’s staff knowledge on the preparation and implementation of this kind of projects, especially through the transfer of experiences by foreing guests. Given that Argonauta is implementing a project within the European Social Fund for the establishment of a socially useful learning program at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb, the knowledge gained from this conference will certainly be useful!
Argonauta’s staff also presented the organization’s Plavi Projekt (“Blue Project”) during the poster session.
