The view in blue.

The main objectives of the project are the conservation and protection of the marine environment from waste and invasive species of marine organisms, education and informing children and the general public about the need for environmental protection and conservation. The project has two components:

1. Awareness-raising activities, education and outreach to the general population of children and the general public (locals and tourists alike) through the organization of local campaigns for making cloth bags made from recycled fabrics and for using cloth bags instead of plastic ones – to warn of the problem of marine pollution by plastic waste.

2. Actions to clean up the submarine and coastal areas, the INI Volunteer Club, as well as local volunteers and volunteer volunteers from all over Croatia, and search for the possible presence of invasive algae of the genus Caulerpa. The seabed will be cleaned and inspected in nautical coves in the Kornati Islands and the Island of Murter.

The implementation of the project is expected to reduce the amount of waste in the sea and increase public awareness (especially the youngest) of the importance of protecting the marine environment.
